 To many pests the fall season signals the need to find a warm place to spend the winter. • Seal cracks on the exterior of the home including the foundation, doors, and windows
• Repair any damaged screens if you plan to keep windows open through the fall
• Keep garage doors closed when not in use
• Close off vents and other openings with protective screens
• Store all open food in airtight containers
• Take the trash out regularly and be sure it is in a sealed receptacle
• Keep shrubs and bushes on the outside of the home trimmed back
• Store firewood at least 20 feet away from the home and up off of the ground
